Ah, recruiter spam. This is why it’s useful to use a separate email address on your resume and Monster/Dice accounts: it makes it easier to filter out this spam after you’ve found a job.
Let’s see… how many things are wrong with this one?
- I haven’t looked for a job since June 2006.
- I wasn’t looking in Pittsburgh.
- I never mentioned any skill in VB (although I actually do know VB 1-6), nor was I ever seeking a VB job.
Never overestimate the intelligence or scruples of tech job recruiters.
I know this pain…nothing like getting spammed with offers for jobs that will pay a quarter of what I make now, out of state and for a position that focuses on one minor aspect of my resume…like XHTML…
