I’ve always been really into the idea of blogging, but have to admit I’m a lot more interested in the software that runs the blog.

I started with Blogger a long time ago, only to eventually decide I could do better and went off on my own. It’s what got me into development really; I wrote many little CMS and blog scripts.

The humor in all of this though, is that I spent more time developing these solutions then actually writing anything. My goal was to get better at posting more interesting / regular posts, not write a new tool. Lucky for me, I found Tumblr. So the cool back end is already done, now for the writing part…

And just so you can gauge how bad I am; I edited the previous post six times before I allowed myself to be happy with it :P
